The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center, produced their monthly Business After Hours event on the evening of Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

With more than 100 guests in attendance, this event was completely sold out. Attendees enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the beautiful new FPL attraction, located directly next door to their Riviera Beach Next Generation Clean Energy Center.

During the course of the evening, FPL’s Don Kiselewski, Senior Director of External Affairs was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation plaque from Sandie Foland, Baron Sign Manufacturing, for selecting a Florida Company as their partner for the year 2015. Baron Sign Manufacturing can be thanked for all of the signage produced during construction of Manatee Lagoon, as well as much of FPL’s other signage locally.

As is typical of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, the proceeds from the event’s 50/50 Raffle were donated to the evening’s nonprofit beneficiary. The guests of the Business After Hours raised $155.00 to each party, however the winner of the 50/50 donated their half, totaling $310.00 raised toward The Humane Society of Jupiter/Tequesta dba Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch.

Thank you to all who attended the July Business After Hours and supported the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center, and Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch.
