Committees & Councils

Ambassador Committee

This Ambassador Committee is critical to enabling the Chamber to welcoming and orienting our valued new members. As an extension of our Chamber team, our Ambassador Committee enhances the overall value of Chamber membership. New members must meet certain longevity requirements to serve as an ambassador.

Economic Development Committee

This is a newly formed working committee comprised of representatives from Palm Beach North’s business, government and education sectors. This group is dedicated to the prioritization, provision of resources and implementation of key strategies outlined in the Chamber’s 5-year Strategic Plan.

Sustainability Sub-Committee of the Economic Development Committee

Mission Statement: To establish and recommend environmental health and sustainability best practices for the Chamber and its members.

Education Committee

Our overreaching goal for the Education Committee is to connect businesses and education entities within the region, engage and obtain buy-in from the business community and increase student engagement.

Government Affairs Committee

This committee informs PBN Chamber members of legislative issues affecting their businesses and the Palm Beach North community. The GAC takes an active role in recommending key legislation, ordinances and policies at the local, state and federal levels that should be considered for advocacy by the Chamber.

Healthcare & Life Science Committee

The purpose of the Healthcare and Life Science (HCLS) Committee is to be a resource for businesses to connect, educate, discuss and promote healthcare and life science topics that affect Palm Beach North quality of life.

Women in Business Council

This is a working council that promotes networking and education for professional women and women entrepreneurs while highlighting the women leaders in the community. The group holds four events per year, including: two Educational Lunches, the Annual Tea in August, and the Annual Woman of the Year Awards Luncheon in January.

Young Professionals

This program area is governed by a steering committee of dedicated young professionals between the ages of 21 to 39 who are charged with ensuring that the needs of Palm Beach North’s young professionals are addressed by the Chamber.
