Teresa Urquhart, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center

Teresa C. Urquhart is the Chief Executive Officer of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. As CEO since November 2018, she is responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities of the 199-bed acute care hospital.

Urquhart has over 30 years of healthcare experience with a proven record of developing strategies and business operations that drive results within the Tenet Healthcare community. Prior to her appointment, Urquhart was the Chief Operating Officer of the Palm Beach Market, based out of sister hospital, Delray Medical Center.

Past roles include, Chief Operating Officer at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia; and she also served as Chief Executive Officer at another Tenet Healthcare hospital, Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Records Administration from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. She continued her education and earned her Master of Arts in Health Services Administration from Webster University in El Paso, Texas.

Urquhart currently holds several esteemed positions in the community, serving as - The American Heart Association Go Red For Women Chairwoman for 2020, Trustee member for the Chamber of the Palm Beaches, PGA Corridor Association Board Member, and an Executive Trustee Council Member and Board Member of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce.

She lives in Northern Palm Beach County with her husband, David Urquhart and is a proud mother of twin daughters and a son.
