Ryan Britton, Florida Atlantic University

Ryan Britton brings over two decades of education and government affairs experience to Florida Atlantic University. Ryan served as a Legislative Fellow in the Florida House and as a public high school teacher in the Kanagawa Prefectural School System of Japan and in his native state of Florida. An ability to pursue public service at the federal level brought Ryan to Washington, D.C., where he worked as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill and began attending law school at night. After returning to Florida and finishing law school, Ryan began working at Florida Atlantic University, where he currently serves as the Vice President for Government Relations and Economic Development as well as the Director of the Office of Public Policy Events. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Florida where he received a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Health Science Education, as well as the Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law. Currently, Ryan and his wife Vicki, an internal medicine physician, live with their twin sons and daughter in Delray Beach, Florida.
