Jennifer Nugent-Hill, Tropical Shipping
Jennifer has been a member of the management team at Tropical Shipping since 1995 and currently serves as the Director of Governmental and Community Affairs. She helps guide her company's leadership team on its public policy agenda and manages the Tropical Shipping community relations and charitable donation programs. Jennifer has shared responsibly for the company's Disaster Management and Business Continuity program plans. She's also a lead Mentor for Tropical Shipping's high potential employees. Jennifer is known for her distinguished public and community service in Florid and the Caribbean. She is Trustee Emerita of the University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees, a member of the Ocean Coastal Observers -Virgin Islands (OCOVI). She is a member of Women International Shipping and Trade Association (WISTA), Member of Women in Maritime Association Caribbean (WIMAC) and a board member American Caribbean Maritime Foundation (ACMF) which provides scholarships to students attending maritime schools in the Caribbean and the Bahamas. She is a frequent speaker on topics related to public-private partnership policy agenda, leadership and workforce development and the Maritime industry as an economic development tool. She holds a Masters degree and is a Certified Business Continuity professional.
