DANA C. HERST, ESQ., a West Palm Beach native, practiced law in Palm Beach County for twenty-two years. Dana served as a Prosecutor in the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office and as an Assistant City Attorney serving the City of West Palm Beach. Dana, a passionate and engaged community activist, made the important decision to leave the practice of law to become immersed full-time in the nonprofit world. She continues to remain active with the Florida Bar and Palm Beach County Bar Associations. Dana has long been active in legal and professional associations and local community organizations. Her involvement in educational and civic organizations includes her role since 2016 as President and Co-Founder of Dreher Park Neighborhood Association; Leadership West Palm Beach (2017); School Advisory Council for the Palm Beach School District for nine years; and Leadership Palm Beach County (2024). Dana is married and has two sons, one at home and one away at college. She also has two Doxie rescues.
