Alyssa Freeman, Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, Inc.

Alyssa Freeman is the Executive Director of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County since 2019. In 2008, Alyssa moved to Florida and began her career with MIAPBC serving in various roles. Alyssa has been tasked with leading MIAPBC-produced events such as the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade and Palm Beach Paddlefest. The MIAPBC also owns the Palm Beach International Boat Show, one of the top 10 boat shows in the world. The mission of MIAPBC is to promote and protect the sound growth of the marine industry for the benefit and education of its members, the community and the environment. Currently, the MIAPBC has more than 500 business and individual members. Additionally, Alyssa has served on the Florida Fishing Academy Board of Directors and currently serves as a board member for CareerSource and Barky Pines Animal Rescue.

Alyssa Freeman was born and raised in Southeastern Michigan, where she grew up around the water enjoying boating, fishing and water sports. She is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a focus in public relations. Alyssa graduated with her MBA in Organizational Leadership from Ashford University in 2017. She lives in Royal Palm Beach with her husband, Jeff, and daughters Ella and Maisyn.
