1116 Love Street, LLC announces the Jupiter Town Council approval and final consent of the mixed-use Love Street project in Jupiter, Florida. “We are grateful for the town’s approval on the Love Street project and are excited about moving forward with our plans,” states Charles Modica, the company’s owner. The project calls for a low density, pedestrian friendly village alongside the Jupiter Inlet currently to the west of Love Street and the Square Grouper and will provide small scale restaurants, shops and office space for all to enjoy. Modica went on to say, “From the beginning, we realized this would be a process and the input and feedback from the Jupiter citizens and supporters was invaluable. We presented a solid plan that lays the groundwork to make the Jupiter Inlet Village a gathering place in the north end of the county for local families and visitors alike by providing permanent public access to the waterfront.”
About the Love Street Project
The Love Street Project is a thoughtfully designed, historically inspired nearly four acre mixed use village alongside the Jupiter Inlet directly across from the Lighthouse. This small scale walkable/bike friendly area will be comprised of one and two story buildings with a casual laid back charm of an intimate fishing village, a welcoming and open feeling with a public beach, greenspaces, courtyards, promenades and a nod to Jupiter’s history. Patrons will be treated to great views of the inlet and an operating commercial fishing dock, places to commune, buy unique and authentic products and sample locally sourced cuisine.
At full buildout, the plan includes two waterfront restaurants and a small café totaling approximately 12,917 sq. ft. of restaurant space, approximately 15,000 square ft. of office space and 20,728 square ft. of retail space. The plan calls for surface parking, for 215 cars, dotted with intermittent chickee huts to offer covered spaces. The 13 boat slip marina is already in use by a commercial fishing fleet. The Love Street project expects to begin construction in the fall/winter of 2016.
