Jupiter Medical Center – Advancing Health and Wellness in Palm Beach County with Highest Patient Safety Marks

Jupiter Medical Center once again received an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group for its continued commitment to upholding the highest levels of safety for patients. The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety, and transparency in the U.S. health care system, just released the new Spring 2017 Hospital Safety Grades, recognizing Jupiter Medical’s world-class patient safety outcomes for the fourth consecutive time. Jupiter Medical Center was the only hospital in Palm Beach and Martin counties to receive an ‘A’ in the Spring 2017 grades.

“In an environment where consumers are becoming increasingly aware of their health care choices, I am particularly proud of the excellence that the team at Jupiter Medical Center has consistently shown in the area of patient safety,” said John D. Couris, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “Safety is the bedrock of health care and our effort to advance this community’s health and wellness. As a member of the Chamber we strive to contribute to the strength and prosperity of the Palm Beach North region by holding ourselves to the highest standards – and this recognition from The Leapfrog Group confirms that.”

In addition, Jupiter Medical Center is the only hospital in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties to currently maintain both an ‘A’ rating and a 4-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
