Jupiter Medical Center Scheduled to Open Two New Urgent Care Facilities

When you spike a fever, twist an ankle or your child develops an ear infection, you can’t always wait for a physician appointment. Your first reaction may be to head straight to the nearest emergency room. You’ll certainly get the medical care you need, but maybe not the convenient or cost-effective health care consumers want. More and more savvy patients are realizing urgent care centers can fill a vital need as they try to maintain their overall health and wellness and that of their loved ones.

Jupiter Medical Center currently operates two urgent care facilities in Jupiter, and two more are scheduled to open next year – one in Palm Beach Gardens and another in downtown West Palm Beach. In addition to urgent care services for patients seeking treatment of a minor illness or injury, we also offer basic imaging, lab tests, travel-related vaccinations and routine physicals, as well as flu shots and other maintenance appointments.

“We want everyone in South Florida to know that world-class health care is available right here, in this community, in multiple convenient locations. These new facilities will ensure that our community members receive the best health care in an efficient, patient-centered manner, without having to leave their community,” says John D. Couris, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Medical Center.
