CEO: We’re Making Considerable Efforts to Connect our Community in Prosperity

Dear members,

Here is another “Note from Noel” - a monthly initiative with the intention to keep you - our members - informed on our organization’s accomplishments, goals, and decisive steps towards a prosperous future. To put it simply, we want to do a better job of telling our story. The more you know about everything going on here at the Chamber, the more you can trust the success of the organization.

October concluded with our Annual Woman of the Year luncheon. It is always an honor to recognize the amazing women that lead Palm Beach North. We shifted our focus in November to finalize a few projects that would lead a community that is connected and prosperous. Below you will find a few of our “wins” and how they align with our strategic imperatives, which ensure Palm Beach North continues to be Florida’s “Prosperity Coast.”

1. We have completed our Prosperity Agenda for 2022

Created by our Government Affairs Committee, the Prosperity Agenda is the Legislative Agenda that that makes it clear what our business community expects from their elected officials. In January, we will be traveling to Tallahassee to meet with our elected officials and make sure your voices are heard.

From the beginning, we have made it a priority to gain insight from our councils, committees, and municipalities in the Palm Beach North region, to guarantee that our Prosperity Agenda is inclusive of their goals. We are so proud of their extensive efforts to create a comprehensive agenda that fosters partnerships with private, public, educational, and civic organizations.

We are excited to show you what we have been working on. The Prosperity Agenda will be available for your view, in December 2021 on our website.

2. Our ArtiGras Tickets are officially on sale.

This month we kicked off our ArtiGras ticket sales with a “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” promotion during the Thanksgiving holiday. After 36 years of bringing fine art to our community, we were recently named one of the top 70 fine art festivals in the country from the past twenty years. Just in the past 10 years, ArtiGras has raised over $300,000 for Youth Art Education and local charities.

Last year, after 20 years, the festival moved back to Palm Beach Gardens. For our 2022 ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, presented by the Hanley Foundation, we are blooming where we were planted last year, and we can’t wait to return to Gardens North County District Park in Palm Beach Gardens. Therefore, our theme will be Garden Party!

We hope that you join us again this year for a weekend of fun and art.

3. We completed our Fall Mentorship Bootcamp through our Women in Business Committee.

Mentorship is essential in preparing our future leaders. It is always heartwarming to see the amazing women in Palm Beach North dedicate their time and efforts towards teaching other women the wisdoms of experience. For three months, the mentors and mentees learned about building their own road to success, being a power networker, and building their career through community involvement.  The program ended at Bungalow Palm Beach at Downtown Palm Beach Gardens where the mentees gave a presentation on how these workshops affected their growth. This all could not be possible without Lickstein Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa’s support and the Women In Business Council.

Our successes are your successes. Everything we do is to better serve our Chamber members and elevate our Palm Beach North region. We are proud of what we have accomplished this past month and are looking forward to December.
