Yaima Acosta currently holds the position of Operations Director at AMR South Florida. She earned both her Bachelor of Science with a legal focus and her master's degree in public administration from Barry University. Over her 14-year tenure at AMR, Yaima started as a Business Development Representative in Orlando, Florida, where she played a key role in broadening the company's market reach, securing its largest interfacility transport deal, and upholding an essential 911 contract with the City of Orlando. Beyond her operational success, Yaima has made significant contributions through board service in Orlando County and presently serves on the Palm Beach County EMS Advisory Board. In her current role, she manages more than 400 EMS professionals and 200 support staff throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
