Sherise Gregory, Community Based Connections, Inc.
Sherise is a nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in fiscal management, operations, talent and workforce development, and community-based programs and services. As Chief Operating Officer of Community Based Connections, Inc. (CBCI), she provides executive leadership across the organization, translating strategic vision into effective operations, long-term sustainability, and measurable community impact. In her role at CBCI, Sherise played an instrumental role in expanding the organization's capacity and strengthening the infrastructure needed to support continued growth and increasingly complex operations. Her leadership has contributed to CBCI's continued expansion, including growing its workforce to more than 80 team members, while advancing the systems, policies, and practices needed to effectively serve families throughout South Florida. Sherise has extensive experience navigating complex public and private funding environments, overseeing fiscal and administrative operations, and leading multidisciplinary teams. She balances growth with a strong commitment to accountability, compliance, operational efficiency, and responsible stewardship.
