Nader Salour, Cypress Realty of Florida LLC
Nader Salour is the founding principal of Cypress Realty of Florida, a land development, investment and advisory company. A 35-year veteran of the industry, Mr. Salour has distinguished himself for success in developing economically sustainable master-planned communities. His expertise in zoning, approval and regulatory processes combined with best-practice business models result in developments that quickly become markers of a community's progress.Three such significant master-planned communities that Mr. Salour directed are Abacoa and BallenIsles Country Club, both in northern Palm Beach County, and Julington Creek Plantation in St. Johns County. Abacoa in Jupiter is one of the country's largest New Urbanism communities, and one of the first in Florida. Located in Palm Beach Gardens, the 1,300-acre BallenIsles development is one of Florida's premier residential country clubs. For Julington Creek Plantation, Mr. Salour oversaw construction of the 4,000-acre mixed-use project. Mr. Salour also completed Phase 1 of a re-development site in downtown West Palm Beach, known as Loftin Place, a 463-unit rental community.
Because of his expertise in land development, Mr. Salour was invited to sit on the board of the Gyrodyne Companies of America, a publicly traded REIT, a directorship he currently serves.
During his career, Mr. Salour has managed the planning and development of residential and commercial projects on three continents. He has been a South Florida resident since 1985. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Building Technology from the University of Westminster in London, England.
