Joseph Fisher, PGA National Resort
Bringing more than 20 years of hospitality experience to idyllic South Florida, the world-class PGA National Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Fisher to Managing Director of the newly renovated resort. Fisher brings an extensive resume spanning more than two decades with some of the world's most recognized hotel brands. Beginning his career in food and beverage with Four Seasons, he has spent time in roles across various departments, allowing him to bring a well-rounded vision to his role at PGA National Resort. As the Managing Director of PGA National, Fisher will oversee the iconic property's 360 guest rooms and suites that pay homage to 1960s Palm Beach chic through the redesign; 40,000 square feet of meeting space; several new dining concepts including two signature restaurants by Top Chef alumni Jeremy Ford and Lindsay Autry; an immersive spa redesigned by V Starr and set to open in May; and more than 90 holes of championship golf.

Most recently, Fisher served as general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour where he led the hotel to receive the highest guest and employee engagement scores in the brand's luxury southwest region two years in a row. He has worked in a similar role for luxury properties such as Conrad Miami and Marco Beach Ocean Resort. Fisher also spent time focusing on food and beverage for The Delano in South Beach, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC, and Waldorf Astoria Park City.

Originally from New York, Fisher earned an associate degree in Fire Science Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College. He now resides in Palm Beach where he enjoys an active lifestyle, playing outdoor sports, and traveling with his family - often visiting Brazil where his wife is originally from.
