Gina Melby, Alan B. Miller Medical Center

Gina Melby is a distinguished healthcare executive with over three decades of experience in hospital administration and operations. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a state-of-the-art, 156-bed hospital under construction in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, slated to open in 2026.

In her current role, Gina is responsible for all facets of management for the new facility, including strategic planning, business development, and physician relations. She also oversees finance, human resources, and quality initiatives. Additionally, she is tasked with integrating advanced healthcare technologies and developing community outreach programs.

Prior to her current role, she was the CEO of two local Florida hospitals, where she consistently led high-performance teams, built strong relationships with physicians, and managed operations in the competitive healthcare sector.

Gina's career in healthcare began as a licensed physical therapist. She then became Director of Rehabilitation Services and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer, eventually serving as CEO.

Educationally, Gina holds a master's degree in medical management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Miami. She is actively involved in her local community, having served on the boards of the Business Development Board, Economic Council, and Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County. Additionally, she has been engaged with the American Heart Association, chairing the Executives with Heart for the annual Heart Walk.

Gina's extensive experience and commitment to healthcare excellence position her to lead the Alan B. Miller Medical Center in delivering high-quality medical services to the Palm Beach Gardens community upon its opening in 2026.
