Eric Carlson, Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa
The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Carlson as its new general manager. Previously serving as the resort manager, Carlson has been promoted to oversee all operations, continuing to elevate service excellence and enhance the resort's renowned oceanfront guest experience.Born and raised in New Jersey, Carlson has nearly 20 years in upscale hospitality management experience. He earned a hospitality administration and management degree from Johnson & Wales University, and has developed extensive financial expertise acquired across hotel and food and beverage operations.
Carlson's passion for hospitality is matched by his lifelong connection to the ocean. Before joining the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island team in April 2022, Carlson spent more than a decade in Islamorada in the Florida Keys, where he served as general manager at Morada Bay Florida Keys, director of operations at the Islander Resort, and catering and sales manager at Caribbean Catering.
