Meet Kathleen


Director of Community Engagement

As Director of Community Engagement, Kathleen works closely with our municipal partners and is the liaison for various committees. These committees include our Economic Development, Education, Government Affairs, and Healthcare & Life Science Committees and our Sustainability Subcommittee. She also works on developing the Chamber’s legislative agenda and will be working with our Disaster Resiliency and Recovery Task Force that was established & funded by a grant to support disaster recovery and resiliency in the region.


Kathleen is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Recreation and Leisure Services Administration. Before working for the Chamber, she provided a decade of community outreach services for roadway construction projects in the Treasure Coast as a consultant for the Florida Department of Transportation.


Currently, Kathleen serves on the Board for the Junior League of Martin County as the Executive Vice President, overseeing the League’s operations and welfare. In her free time, she enjoys going to CycleBar, bingeing true crime podcasts, and reading books for her monthly book club. Her favorite book genre is historical fiction and all-time favorite book is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
