Meet Janiece

Janiece Davis

Executive Director, Palm Beach North Education Foundation

As the Executive Director, Janiece is tasked with strategic growth of the Foundation and fostering donor and community engagement to increase the Foundation’s investment in local youth and educators.

Janiece built a career bettering the lives of individuals who live, work, and play in South Florida through the implementation of policy, systems and environmental change by building private-public partnerships. For over 10 years Janiece oversaw the Tobacco Free Florida Palm Beach County Program where her work focused on reducing the health and economic burden of tobacco on our communities. Her efforts within the community have resulted in many successes, including collaborating with the School District of Palm Beach County to implement the first comprehensive tobacco-free schools policy in Florida. Her work with mentoring youth resulting in HB 439 during the 2013 Florida Legislative Session, and a local campaign called Not a Replacement that was picked up by the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids as their official national campaign for Kick Butts Day 2015. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked at a public health nonprofit where she oversaw programming related to aging and health equity and led efforts to secure community-based research funding from the National Institutes of Health.

Janiece is a graduate of Leadership Florida Connect and currently serves on the board of the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council and the Women’s Red Apple Foundation. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health from the University of Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, working out, and visiting her family in Gainesville.
