Alexis Lockhart is a graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism & Graphic Communications, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations. Alexis has worked in communications around the world from Paris, France to New York, New York. Prior to joining the Chamber, she worked as a Communications Director for Faith’s Place Center for Arts Education, dedicated towards helping children succeed in the Arts.
As a freelance Public Relations professional, Alexis has worked closely with community leaders and other notable clients to plan events, promote business and engage the community in a progressive future. Alexis has served as an acting liaison between city officials, strategists, news reporters and small business owners to ensure partnerships, and secure resources for her clients. Alexis currently serves as the Riviera Beach Housing Authority Commissioner, appointed by Mayor Ronnie L. Felder in May 2020
