George Bennett has been a Palm Beach Post reporter since 1992. In addition to his reporting duties, he writes a Monday politics column in the local news section and is a frequent contributor to the Post On Politics blog. He’s a graduate of The George Washington University. He has covered presidential elections going back to the “butterfly ballot” controversy of 2000 and covered the Democratic and Republican conventions in 2012 and 2016.
With a decade of experience covering the Treasure Coast, Jana Eschbach knows the region inside and out. She covers Indian River, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin counties. Dedicated to local community coverage from politics to business to agriculture, with her experience, Jana is often exclusive in the region. Jana enterprises and breaks stories daily, while uncovering in-depth I-Team investigations that create change in our region. Honored for Overall Individual Excellence and Team Coverage by the Associated Press, Jana is a seasoned journalist.
Nicole Rodriguez is the Port St. Lucie government-watchdog reporter for Treasure Coast Newspapers, part of the USA Today Network. Nicole studied journalism at St. John’s University in New York City and is a graduate of Florida International University.
She has freelanced for The Washington Post and covered local news on the Treasure Coast since 2010, including the contentious District 18 congressional race between Patrick Murphy and Allen West, the Indian River Lagoon and the Pulse nightclub shooting.
