This committee promotes partnership among educational institutions and businesses. This committee creates fundraising opportunities, advocates awareness about trends, opportunities, and challenges in the education community, facilitates education programs with local institutions, and spreads the word about the John C. Giba Student leadership Awards and annual Teacher of the Year Awards.
Principal for a Day
Principal for a Day is designed to help community leaders better understand the complex role of the school principal, experience the issues that a principal faces on a daily basis, and to strengthen business-education partnerships.
The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Principal For A Day program is a one-day commitment during the week of October 23-27, 2017. For more information, please contact Juliza Kramer.

The Education Committee seeks to 1) educate our members on issues related to, or concerning education, 2) promote education within the Chamber membership, and 3) promote business education partnerships. To support these goals, our Committee will hold the 4th Annual Principal for a Day event October 23-27, 2017. We have tasked a subcommittee with exploring and developing opportunities to partner with the business community to provide critical STEM related equipment and resources to our local public and private schools. We continue to invite businesses and educational leaders to speak to our Committee to increase our knowledge and understanding of the resources available to our community. Finally, our Committee continues to support student interaction with the business community by sponsoring student attendance at the Chamber’s Business Before Hours events.
